ḤADĪTH OF THE DAY

“ Āmir Ibn-Sa'd narrated that the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, ordered that the palms be placed on the ground. He also narrated that the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, ordered that the palms be placed on the ground, and that the feet be directed towards the kiblah. ”

Sunan at-Tirmithiy كتاب البيوع باب ما جاء فى النهى عن الثنيا

حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْبَغْدَادِىُّ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِى سُفْيَانُ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنِ الْمُحَاقَلَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُخَابَرَةِ وَالثُّنْيَا إِلاَّ أَنْ تُعْلَمَ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ.
The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, prohibited the sale of crop when it is still in the spikes, the sale of hanging dates for picked ones, the lease of land against a certain part of its produce and leaving an unspecified exception in a deal, the exception must be specified.
